More SelfDefeating Politically-Correct Prosecution of US Troops

More Self-Defeating, Politically-Correct Prosecution of US Troops

That’s right!  More CYA prosecution of US troops by the US Military Brass – this time in Afghanistan.

The article reads in part as follows:

The U.S.-led coalition's operational commander, Maj. Gen. Jason Kamiya, said two junior officers who ordered the bodies burned would be reprimanded for showing a lack of cultural and religious understanding, but that the men had been unaware at the time of doing anything wrong.

There you have it!  Our officers are being prosecuted for “showing a lack of cultural and religious understanding.”

If that isn’t a load of bull sauce (thanks to Wesley Pruden for the latter term), I don’t know what is.

I continue to call for SECDEF Dumbsfeld to be replaced by someone with the stomach for a war based on the premise that we need to go in and kill the enemy – even if it means hurting his feelings a bit on occasion.

The current Dumbsfeld Pentagon’s logic is apparently: “You may kill the enemy, but – by Allah – you shall surely not offend his religious sensibilities.  (We are all wannabe Dhimmis, after all!)”

Post Script:  I just saw that – independently, but apparently on the same wavelength – lgf has also linked to this story.  See the comments!

Another Post Script:  On that same lgf thread, poster SoCalJustice has linked to the following VERY eye-opening article by home-grown, enemy-within, pro-Islamist,  and increasingly powerful organization CAIR criticizing the burning of the bodies.  I wonder how many articles CAIR has run decrying the utter barbarism of the Taliban (whose bodies were burned)?

And, yet another Post Script:  To support an organization that is wise to CAIR and actively seeks to expose its dark side and excesses, go to, link to, and financially support Anti-CAIR, an organization the CAIR truly hates!
