The Genius Karl Rove

The “Genius” Karl Rove

Wow!  Got to read this WND editorial by Ann Coulter!

In it, she articulates something that I have been thinking for a long time: Namely, that the allegedly “genius” GWB-political-advisor, Karl Rove, in point of fact, nearly snatched defeat from the jaws of victory in 2004 for the very un-conservative and very “insider” Republican, George W. Bush.

The article is devastating in the way that Coulter limns out the President’s almost dogged insistence over the past six years to support (VERY) liberal Republicans over conservative ones.

Some people actually still believe that Bush is a conservative and that he is carrying on his Administration in the tradition of the late-great Reagan Revolution.  (People who think that way apparently do not want to be confused by the facts.)

The current Republican Party leadership at the national level is sick, sick, sick.

I actually saw an interview with Ron Reagan Jr. where he said (before the 1st election) that George Bush is no Ronald Reagan. How true. But I would think that Jr. would love GW since he (Jr) is a liberal and his Dad was anything but.

hi, sk! Great post. I actually feel sorry for Ron, Jr -- except for the big bucks he must be making from MSNBC for issuing forth a lot of liberal blather.
