You Da Man, Governator! -- Part 3
You Da Man, Governator! -- Part 3
We have posted here favorably regarding Arnold Schwarzenegger before: See here. And here.
Well, once again, it seems that President Bush could be taking a few “leadership” pointers from California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger.
This time, “The Governator” actually followed through on his earlier promise to veto AB 849 legalizing homosexual marriage.
It is great: The Liberal-Democrat controlled Cali State Legislature keeps throwing Schwarzenegger these slow-pitch softballs. And the Gov obliges by hitting them out of the park every time!
As Michael Savage said on his show recently, if Schwarzenegger vetoes AB 849 (which he just did), Savage predicted a jump in his sagging poll numbers for the Governor – as well as a successful re-election bid.
Lesson for Bush: A well-placed veto shows cojones. (Hint: Bush has YET to veto a SINGLE piece of legislation coming out of the US Congress during his 1-1/2 terms in office!)
