Ninth Circuit Denies Hawaiians Right of Association
The 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals ruled that the Kamehameha Schools in Hawaii -- which receive NOT ONE RED CENT of FEDERAL AID -- are "racially discriminating" by requiring all students to have at least some Hawaiian ancestry.
While I am not Hawaiian, I believe the Constitution is clear on the right of free association. As long as the institution is private and not Federally funded, then who gives a rip if it is all white, all female, all black, or all Hawaiian.
The Hawaiians are rightly outraged.
