Two Touching Cameos of Kindness by Adherents of the Religion of Peace (Islam)
Cameo Number One
In the Dhimmi Paradise of Germany, 18-year-old Ayhan Surucu put three bullets through the brain of his 23-year-old sister, Hatun, at a bus stop. Her crime? Living like a Westerner. (Hat tip: WND.)
Ayhan’s two older brothers are suspected of having been collaborators in the snuff, but they remain unconvicted.
When news of the brutal murder reached the mostly-Muslim school near the site of the murder, the students cheered.
Is Germany lost? Or does she have the courage to deport Muslims en masse in order to hold on to her Western culture?
Time will tell.

In another touching scenario, 42-year-old Jerusalam resident Muhammad Abu al-Hawa, father of eight, was brutally tortured, and shot some seven times, for the crime of . . . . are you sitting down? Selling his property to JEWS! (Hat tip: WND.)
Of course, these (Palestinian Arabs) people are the same ones with whom Kofi Annan and Condoleeza Rice want the Israelis to sit down and negotiate and to whom they wish them to cede more land. Makes sense to me! (NOT!)
Conclusion
Either we ban this religion’s practice in this country on the grounds that its tenants require violence on the part of its followers, or we will soon be Dhimmis in our own land.

Again--we can't ban the practice of any religion in this country.
There are already hundreds of thousands, possibly millions of Muslims in the U.S., yet we don't have these type of incidents here. That's because we have different political, social and economic conditions. It's those things that are usually the underlying reasons for unrest and violence--not religion.
Hi, Elizabeth, Defender of Islam! You can whistle past the graveyard all you want. Your rationalizations ring hollow. In any country where the Muslim faith becomes even significant (let alone dominant), these things occur with regularity. (NOW I know why you detest lgf: It regularly reports on this stuff.) By the way, are you trying to say that Germany is a third-world nation?
We CAN ban any practice that is harmful to human life. The Mormons had to renounce polygamy to stay legal. The Muslims can be forced to renounce jihad, honor killings, female circumcision, and so forth -- or leave if they don't want to give them up. -- gunjam
"Honor" killings and female "circumcision" are not part of Islam. These are ancient, pre-Islamic rites, based on notions of male supremacy that exist in more subtle forms in most societies including ours.
"Jihad" does not necessarily mean military struggle. It can mean personal quests for self-improvement or non-violent campaigns.
I have an idea for your next vacation. I know you want to put your Christian beliefs into action:

hi, elizabeth, your erudite point about honor killings and female clitorectomies not being part of Islam are about as relevant as my saying that Christmas trees are not part of Christianity. The fact is, these practices are practiced in many muslim communities and, when the Muslims move to new locations (e.g., Europe, Australia, and the US), they bring these detestable practices with them. Will you deny this obvious truth? Additionally, there was a piece on lgf in the past week or two, where a prominent mullah was on television defending the practice of doing clitorectomies on women in order to keep their desires in check. He was speaking as an Islamic leader, not as a pagan anthropologist. Perhaps you are going to set him -- and all his followers -- straight about this practice not being TRULY a part of ISLAM? Also, please tell all those dead women who have been killed by their family members that honor killings are not REALLY a part of Islam. Elizabeth, whom are you kidding? I think only yourself. Elizabeth: P.S. Jihad means whatever is convenient to the Muslim practicing it at the time. We need to pass a law that any Muslim who insists on practicing Jihad in ANY form must be DEPORTED -- for our own safety. -- gunjam
Danny, let me turn that around and ask you a question: Do you think Muslims in this country should legally be permitted to OBSERVE the following elements of their religion: jihad, honor killings, female circumcision?
If so, I think you need to revisit the Constitutional guarantees of liberty to all.
Incidentally, female circumcision is ALREADY banned here, although I have read that the ban is, at times, broken.
Male circumcision has medical benefits, whereas female circumcision has none.
Perhaps you are one of those who fails to recognize that this country was founded on a Judaeo-Christian foundation. Islam -- and its practices as observed from Somali to Saudi Arabia to Afghanistan -- are foreign to that foundation.
And, I forgot to add one more Islamic practice that should be (and is) banned: polygamy.
Also, the wearing of burkhas in public places should be banned, as it has already been banned in France.
Danny, please look up the word Dhimmi. You may already be one at heart.
Islam simply does not play well with other religions. If you let Islam become a major force in our country, America's character shall be changed (for the worse) forever.
Even the leaders of CAIR say that they would "like to see" America ruled by Sharia Law someday.

Islam isn't going to become a major religion in the U.S. in the next 50 years.
As for clitoridectomies: Most of them are performed in Africa. When I was in Gaza,I remember a woman telling me failure to give sexual pleasure to his wife was grounds for divorce--doesn't sound like too many women there were missing their clitorises!
