CAIR is the Muslim equivalent of Jesse Jackson & Al Sharpton. They take a real problem (and, come on admit it, there is a problem) and turns it into a huge deal that they can reap benefit from. The FBI reports that 10% of hate crimes are based on anti-Muslim bias while Muslims make up 0.5% of the population. That's way out of proportion. So CAIR is just out there jacking different organizations and businesses, like FOX. They probably think they can leverage something, like Jesse Jackson getting a Budweiser distributorship.
hi, boston maggie, thank you for your thoughtful comment. however, methinks that you are being FAR to generous to CAIR, for -- as I understand it -- the JEWS are the number one target of religiously-based hate crimes.... talk about out of proportion! (and I wonder just WHO might be commiting some of those anti-Jewish hate crimes?) .... --gunjam
