Ted Kennedy Attempts to Insert "Thought Crime" Language into Pending Defense Bill

Senator Ted Kennedy (D, MA) has proposed to attach a "hate crimes" (read: thought crimes) amendment to a currently pending defense bill. By doing this, Kennedy slyly bypasses the committee process where such an amendment might be debated and invites a Presidential veto of a much-needed Defense bill.

Kennedy's amendment is a blatant attempt to do the bidding of the homosexual activist lobby and would give homosexuals "protected status," thereby exposing Christians speaking out against the sin of homosexuality to possible prosecution and/or imprisonment.

Kennedy's is a wicked amendment proposed by a man who seems to delight in doing evil.

I am praying that Kennedy's plan will NOT stand!
