Hamdaniya Marines Snapped – and Now Must Pay; but I also in Large Part Blame Bush/Dumbsfeld/CandyCane Generals for Forcing them to Be Sitting Ducks

There is no doubt that what these Marines did at Hamdaniya was wrong.  And now they, of course, must pay.

However, it is also clear that they snapped.  

I also in large part blame Bush/Dumbsfeld and their candy cane generals for handcuffing our troops with absurdly restrictive rules of engagement (ROE) that requires them act like sitting ducks.

The first Hamdaniya Marine convicted – who was on his SECOND Iraq tour – said they committed the senseless murder because they were sick of being bombed.

The murder of an innocent man was wrong – but the way our leaders have exposed our troops to needless risk is even MORE wrong.

….. Oh, and – once again – if the terrorist scum in Guantanamo are worthy of pro buono legal help from the top law firms in the country, then why the hell aren’t these Marines?
